North Korea condemns drills by U.S., Japan, S. India Metrological Department’s data of the past years shows that the rain bearing winds usually announce their arrival with a moderate  rain spell either on the date of onset or a day after. Between 1960 to 2023 the monsoon reached the capital 33 times in July and 31 times in June. During this period the earliest arrival of the monsoon was on the June 9 in 1961. The most delayed was when the winds reached Delhi on July 27 in 1987. Three people died and six were injured after a portion of the roof of the Delhi airport's Terminal-1 fell on cars, including taxis, amid heavy rains early Friday, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officials said. They said a search operation is underway to make sure no one else is trapped in the damaged vehicles. Besides the roof sheet, the support beams also collapsed, damaging the cars parked in the pick-up and drop area of the terminal, the officials said.
